What a day! The ENLP magic was in full force on Saturday the 12th November in London with people flying in across Europe to take part in what was to be a very special event. The day started out with a treasure hunt throughout the city, involving everything from pirouette practice outside the Royal Ballet School to a street performance within the dome of Convent Garden- no form of public entertainment was off limits. Victory was claimed by team L’ Best whose record breaking scores raised suspicions. Rumours of foul play were swiftly forgotten as the annual Lord Mayor's fireworks lit up the Thames and bubbles began to flow. We then swiftly proceeded to a cosy cafe where stories were shared over a traditional beverage (or two). Back to the streets we headed for some sparkler play before heading to the finale - the French feast. With our own private room secured, our appetites were wet and inner-fires re-ignited with a "before-dinner" speech by the inspirational Prof Alan Dangour. Three courses (and seat-swops) later, the room was buzzing with energy - it was clear we had all received our dose of the ENLP magic.
A huge thank you to everyone who made the day/night and of course to the motivated organising committee who helped us pull it off!
